The Innocent for the Guilty Part 3- The Story of our Great Redemption #16
Tuesday Aug 09, 2022
Tuesday Aug 09, 2022
Jesus suffered the deaths in all realms; physically and spiritually, BUT God raised Him up from the dead having loosed Him from the birth pangs of death! (Acts 2:24) The loosing of the birth pangs of death came BEFORE His body was raised up from the tomb. After the death of Jesus on the cross, He was three days and nights in the heart of the earth. (See reference below.) The "heart" of the earth was not the physical rock tomb. It referred to the place of the dead called Hades. (Acts 2:24, 27, 31) As one example of Hades and the fact that it NEVER referred to the tomb in the New Testament (and more examples will be explored in these podcasts), see the true story (not "parable" because personal names were not used in parables) of the wicked rich man and Lazarus. The rich man went to Hades (the same Greek word as in Acts 2:27, 31) and he was in torments in the flames. (Luke 16:22-24 CSB)
Of course, ignorance of the sacrifice of Jesus usually rejects the fact that Jesus went into the place of the wicked dead as our substitute. Thank God that Jesus went to Hades in our place! That was what awaited all sinners! Death and hell (Hades)! Jesus died and went to Hades with OUR sins (He had no sin of His own). Judgment came on OUR sins and He was the INNOCENT ONE giving His life for the guilty! He paid the full and ultimate price to redeem us!
Jesus prophesied he would be for three days and nights in the heart of the earth, and it came to pass. The Biblical example Jesus used to establish this truth was Jonah when he was three days and nights in the belly of the great fish. (Jonah 1:17 and all of chapter 2)
For as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. (Matthew 12:40 CSB)
This message will revolutionize your life! When you begin to understand these truths, you will begin to get a hold of the width, depth, and height of God's love for us. It is truly amazing!
Don't miss these short podcasts. I purposely did not post anymore for some weeks to allow you to catch up and to go back and rehear those podcast that came before. They are the foundation for what comes next.
Be mightily blessed through the Word and Spirit of the Lord!

The Innocent for the Guilty Part 2- The Story of Our Great Redemption #15

The sacrifice of Jesus was all-inclusive, and NOTHING was left out. Jesus suffered spiritually, mentally, physically, and in every other realm for three days and three nights. It was not only on the cross. The cross was a part of His sacrifice (and it represents the whole) but it was not the end. The end did not come UNTIL the three days and nights were completed, AFTER He was physically raised from the dead, and AFTER He ascended and took His blood into the Holy of Holies in Heaven.
Peter taught these neglected truths in the very first message preached after the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit thought these truths of the physical AND spiritual sufferings of Christ to be so indispensible and fundamental that He made them a part of the inauguration-GOSPEL-message in Acts 2. Wow!
This is the greatest story in the Bible and it is one only partially told in churches. Few churches have emphasized the spiritual sufferings of Christ and His descent into Hades, together with the physical torment He endured on the cross. A great part of the sacrifice of Jesus has been left out of most preaching. During Easter services, the spiritual sufferings of Christ are mostly ignored. Yet, the spiritual side is clearly attested in Scripture.

Many have fussed with me over the facts we will be presenting in the next podcasts from OUR Bibles (not just MY Bible, if you will look up the Scripture). Some of the most nonsensical and out of context reasons have been used. However, the sacrifice of Jesus was all-inclusive, and NOTHING was left out. Jesus suffered spiritually, mentally, physically, and in every other realm for three days and three nights. It was not only on the cross. The cross was a part of His sacrifice (and it represents the whole) but it was not the end.
Now, if you have not heard the previous 13 podcasts you may think I am presenting some strange Bible doctrine, BUT these truths are found in the very first message preached after the Holy Spirit fell on the day of Pentecost. Peter and the Holy Spirit thought it to be so important that they didn't leave out these truths from the inauguration message of the Church in Acts 2.
We begin to study this in some detail and we will keep building on it with one Scripture upon another until it drives out any unbelief. This is the greatest story in the Bible and it is one only partially told in churches. Few churches have emphasized the spiritual sufferings of Christ, and His descent in Hades together with the physical torment He endured on the cross. A great part of the sacrifice of Jesus has been left out of most preaching. Yet, the spiritual side is clearly attested in Scripture. Are you ready to readjust your thinking and open your heart to magnificent spiritual truth?

The Messianic Psalm Chapter 22: The Story of our Great Redemption #13
Wednesday Aug 03, 2022
Wednesday Aug 03, 2022
Here are some (not all) of the Messianic prophecies fulfilled by Jesus in the Garden, on the cross, and during His death according to Psalms 22:
Verse 1- Forsaken by God (Mark 15:34).
V. 2- Praying without ceasing before His death (Matthew 26:38-39).
V. 6- Despised and rejected by His own people (Luke 23:21-23).
V. 7- Mocked (Mt. 27:39).
V. 8- Evil people will say, “He trusted in God, let Him now deliver Him.” (Mt. 27:41-43).
V. 11- “None to help” because His disciples abandoned Him (Mark 14:50).
V. 14a- Blood and water came out of His body (John 19:34).
V. 14b, 16b- Death by crucifixion, hands and feet pierced (Mt. 27:35).
V. 15- His thirst while suffering death (John 19:28).
V. 16a- Gentiles (Jews called them dogs) will be present at His crucifixion (Luke 23:36).
V. 16b- “A band of evildoers” refers in this particular case to the religious Jews that hated him and saw to it that He was crucified (Mt. 27:41-43).
V. 18- Casting lots for His garments (John 19:23-24).
… And the list goes on!
Wow! That Psalm is so precise and so clear that you have to have help to misunderstand it! It was given through David 1000 years before the Messiah hung on the cross. Again, WOW!
Listen to this anointed podcast and PLEASE forward it to all your family and friends. Glory to God!

Our Savior on the Cross: That Story of our Great Redemption #12
Monday Aug 01, 2022
Monday Aug 01, 2022
There is no question that Psalms 22 is a clear prophetic utterance through King David 1,000 years before Jesus hung on the cross. It is amazing to read it and cross-reference it with the things that happened around the cross in the Gospel accounts. WOW! We begin in this podcast to look closely at this powerfully revealing Psalms.
The Psalm starts with the gloomy words from the lips of Jesus on the cross, “My God, my God, what have you forsaken me?” As we read the highlights, a picture of what really happened on the cross emerges that NOT ONE of Hollywood’s attempts to recreate the crucifixion of Jesus on film have gotten right. As graphic as was “The Passion of the Christ”, and as bloody as Mel Gibson tried to imagine it, he only got it partly right.
From Psalms 22, we read these words:
All My bones are out of joint… I can count all My bones (Psalms 22:14, 17 NKJV).
Not one movie has ever portrayed this truth. Not one! EVERY bone in Jesus’ body came out of it’s joint on the cross. Have you ever had one joint come out of its joint and felt the excruciating pain it caused? Now imagine every bone in your body suddenly coming out of it’s joint. The extreme pain is unthinkable.
Because I practiced martial arts for many years, I pulled a few bones out of joint. The worst was my index finger. The pain was worse than when I fractured my ankle in two places. Not only that, it took longer to heal than the bone on my ankle. That was just ONE joint! Yeow!
What do you think would happen if every joint came out its place in a human body? How would that severely mar the form of a human body? A person would look monstrous with protruding bones all over under the skin.
It got worse for Jesus as He suffered with our sin, curse, and death on the cross.
Isaiah 52 and 53 are mighty prophetic and messianic chapters about the sacrifice of Jesus.
[For many the Servant of God became an object of horror; many were astonished at Him.] His face and His whole appearance were marred more than any man’s, and His form beyond that of the sons of men—but just as many were astonished at Him (Isaiah 52:14 Amplified- AMPC)
Read the verse above closely: Jesus became an object of horror, and His face and His whole appearance were marred to the point that He didn’t look like a human being. The word “marred” means Jesus was disfigured, distorted, maimed, mangled, and deformed on the cross. Here is a statement that I hope you will never forget: Jesus became a monster on the cross for you and me! Again, no movie representation has ever come close to what really happened on the cross.
I trust in the Lord that this podcast will be eventful for you! Be blessed with the anointed Word!
Yes, I know the picture is dark. It was meant to be. The sun went dark as Jesus hung on the cross. Look at the picture closer. Zoom in and see what is in the darkness.

Maybe the title is so different, and it is so contradictory to traditional thinking, that it will cause you to listen closely to this podcast recording. Did Jesus speak by faith, speaking of things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17), when He stated from the cross, “Into your hands I commend my spirit”, and “It is finished”? Was there precedent in his ministry for this “speaking of things that are not as though they were”? Oh yes, and you need to hear about it. Why is this important? If you think that the entire plan of redemption was completed on the cross because Jesus stated, “It is finished”, then what do we do with His resurrection and ascension into Heaven? Weren’t those a part of the plan? When He ascended into Heaven was when He carried proof of His eternal sacrifice into the heavenly Holy of Holies and placed His precious blood on the Mercy Seat. What about Satan’s defeat in Hades (Revelation 1:18)? What about the day of Pentecost and the coming Holy Spirit? Weren’t these also a part of God’s great plan of redemption through His Son Jesus? (See Acts chapters 1 & 2.)
This podcast will amplify your understanding in this area, and in the process of these podcasts, we will see it even clearer. If you think the podcasts are too short, remember that the subject matter is rarely taught as we are presenting it. It will be new to many ears and we have to build this line upon line, precept upon precept, and can’t be in a hurry over it.

Sufferings of Separation and Death: The Story of our Great Redemption #10
Monday Jul 25, 2022
Monday Jul 25, 2022
Some basics need to be understood concerning spirit, soul, and body. In addition, spiritual death must not be a mystery to us to perceive the truths we are about to unfold to you from the Scripture. The sacrifice of Jesus has generally been seen as a physical sacrifice alone. Few have delved into the reality of the spiritual sufferings of Christ. Yet, the Bible is VERY clear about it. These truths are not in vague references. They are right out in the open for all to see. If you will open up your heart to receive, these Bible truths will resonate within the deepest recesses of your spirit. The sacrifice of Jesus was spirit, soul, and body. Jesus suffered death FOR US in all its realms and forms. The innocent Christ Jesus paid the price for us the guilty and condemned. It was both a substitution and identification. No worries though, it will all make perfect sense (spiritual sense that is) before long. The eternal saga continues.

The Hidden Plan of God in Christ: The Story of our Great Redemption #9
Friday Jul 22, 2022
Friday Jul 22, 2022
We speak God’s ·secret wisdom [or wisdom in a mystery; 2:1], which he has kept hidden. Before the world began [ages], God planned [decreed; destined] this wisdom for our glory. None of the rulers of this ·world [age] understood it. If they had, they would not have crucified the ·Lord of glory [glorious Lord]. (1Corinthians 2:7, 8 EXB)
God’s plan in Jesus to redeem all that would receive it was a plan kept hidden from His enemies. He especially kept it hidden from the devil and all of hell. It was only available by bits and pieces through the prophets, but the full picture was not revealed until Jesus was raised from the dead. Why? It was kept hidden so the devil and his cronies could not interfere or mess it up in any way. It was only on a “need to know” basis, and the devil and his followers did not need to know! If they had known what God had in mind, they would have never murdered Jesus. The death and resurrection of Jesus spelled D-O-O-M for the devil and hell, and if he would have known about it, he would have backed off. However, the devil was kept in the dark, and redemption happened, the devil was defeated, and God made that redemption available to all that would receive it. Wow!

The Bible says that the power of the Holy Spirit would be coming on all believers to produce a witness in our city, state, country, and even to the rest of the earth. (Acts 1:8) That power from on High came on the day of Pentecost after Jesus was raised from the dead. (Acts 2) Jesus also commissioned all believers to preach the gospel to every person with signs following. (Mark 16:15-20) We are to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything Jesus commanded us. (Mat. 28:19, 20) EVERY believer has a responsibility to carry out these orders from the Head of the Church, Jesus THE Anointed One (Christ). I am doing a part to get the Word out to all the world. Of course, there are many other ways to get the Word out such as one on one witnessing, and through meetings, large and small. How can you get involved in getting the Gospel message out? Here is one way. Forward these teachings and recordings to your friends, family, and acquaintances. Be a blessing to someone else. Get them under the rich anointing of the Holy Spirit and the Word.
